I created these sliding panels with some help of our shop CNC machine. They are 1/2" mdf with a piece of hardwood embedded on the underside where they ride on a fiber rail. I painted the backside with a solar shield to reduce heat.
To these I added some cut mirror diamonds.
You can also see the headboard under construction. It still needs trim.
Also you can see the speakers installed. I figured out that this would be a great place for my old Bose surround sound.
Its AMAZING how it sounds in here.
And its great that you can black out this room in the brightest part of day and sleep or listen to surround sound music as loud as you can stand.
