I ended up pouring a second layer over the floor. There were a couple adjustments I wanted to make. So most of it I poured in clear but added a little more sand and wave and adjusted the blue a bit.
I was pretty happy with it after that. I think it had most of what I liked about my concept photo....without the photo realism of course.

After that I coated the floor about six times with polyurethane to give it a harder finish.
And then sanded and buffed it out. It is still waiting to be installed as I want to do it after the shower walls are done so I don't work over it excessively.
