BUS CONVERSION

Windows are key

Windows are perhaps the most prominent feature in a bus. These are each 55" wide with a three inch space, perfect for any dividing walls.

WTo compare to the Bluebird where windows were 27" each, Three windows there defined a space about 87" wide. In this MCI two windows would create a space about 113". Consequently any two window area (kitchen, bedroom, living room) would have 30% more space. THAT was pretty exciting and it would help make the bus feel quite spacious.

These window systems are pretty amazing in their own right. The bar at the bottom flips up and it unlatches the window which swings out like an awning.

I would try to do a space layout that covered a minimum number of windows and divided as few as possible so they would remain operable.

It seems to me the openness of the bus and possibility of full view is a really great feature of this kind of living space.
